The Muttontown Club

We had an incredible experience hosting our daughter's baptism here in the Oak Room at The Muttontown Club which hosts about 80 people! We initially chose the location since it was near our church. From start to finish the entire experience was great. Even just driving into the club the grounds are magnificent and give a great first impression. Tara was very thorough and helpful with keeping things organized down to the last detail. The space itself is beautiful, has a gorgeous charm to it and opens up to the outside which was amazing for our guests on a beautiful summer day to see members golfing it was just breathtaking. My favorite part of that room is that it also opens to a beautiful sunroom where we did a nice display, so when you entered the Oak Room you could see straight down into the sun room. Big standouts for us were the food (honestly amazing, we did a lunch and my family is in the restaurant business and are tough critics but kept raving about how amazing the food was) and the staff (kind, attentive, didn't miss a beat). They also had high chairs which was great and made the location family friendly. The price was also fair and they made the day very special for us, a great experience overall highly recommend!

I had a wonderful afternoon at the Muttontown Club today. We were invited to a first birthday party. The entire club was beautiful, inside and out. Lots of friendly and great staff. My wife has a broken foot, the concierge offered to get the ramp and then helped us down the stairs. All the food served was delicious. Loved the chicken Florentino. Chicken strips and home fries had lots of flavor. Fresh omelets being served by Ceaser one of the chefs. Overall great experience. Five stars!

Unfortunately the corporate ownership of this club leaves little to be desired. No care for the members for loss of use of course last season. Food is barely Edible most meals to be honest. Golf staff and restaurant staff all great but unfortunately all have hands tied by greedy corporate management who could care less about morale of the club. So easy to make this a great club again but squeezing every dollar out of the members without improvements will cost them a lot of members. Plus they have no short game practice area which also is a big negative. They recently put in a new golf simulator but another act of greed they want to charge full dues members to use it. And what do you get for all the issues last year with 6 greens being shut down in the heart of the season….They raised membership dues without as much as a free drink for the inconvenience of losing the use of full course. Once again corporate greed at its finest. If the right people were running this club they would make 20% more because most members go elsewhere to eat and drink after around because of the mistreatment of members. Most feel they supported club through Covid and after and now have just become statistics on the clubs balance sheet.
